Cancellation Policy 2026
1. Deposits
To secure your appointment, we ask for a deposit of 50% of your total service cost at the time of booking. This applies to all appointments: cuts, colours, highlights and balayage.
Your deposit will be applied to the cost of your appointment on the day, so it's not extra, just paid upfront. If you cancel within 48 hours or don't make it to your appointment, the deposit will be retained.
Deposits are taken securely through our booking system, Slick, and you'll receive an automatic text confirmation once your booking is in. We're unable to hold appointments without a deposit in place, so do look out for that text.
2. Cancellation Within 48 Hours
If something comes up and you need to cancel, just give us a ring with at least 48 hours notice and we'll be happy to help. This gives us the chance to offer your spot to someone on the waiting list.
If you do need to cancel inside that 48-hour window, we'll need to hold onto your deposit as a cancellation fee, but there'll be no further charge beyond that.

Please do call us during business hours to cancel. We can't accept cancellations by text, email, or social media, as we can't guarantee we'll see these in time. A cancellation is only confirmed once you've spoken directly with one of the team.
You'll also receive an automatic reminder text from Slick ahead of your appointment. Just to note, receiving that reminder doesn't change the cancellation terms above.
3. No-Shows & Same-Day Cancellations
If you're unable to make your appointment and we haven't heard from you, or if you cancel on the day itself, we'll need to charge the full cost of the appointment. We know this feels strict, but missed appointments have a real impact on our stylists and the clients waiting for a slot.
Any remaining balance after the deposit will be processed via the payment details provided at booking. We'll always let you know before doing so.
If we notice a pattern of missed appointments, we may unfortunately need to ask you to pre-pay in full for future bookings.
4. Cancellations by Yard & Quarter
We'd never leave you in the lurch. In the rare event that we need to move or cancel your appointment, we'll be in touch as soon as we can. Any deposit paid will be refunded in full or transferred to a new date — whatever works best for you.

5. Late Arrivals
We always do our best to fit you in, but if you're more than 15 minutes late we may need to shorten your service or reschedule. This is so we can give you, and the clients after you, the experience you deserve without rushing.

6. Agreement
By completing your booking, you're confirming you've had a chance to read this policy — thank you for taking the time. You'll get an automatic text from Slick with all your appointment details and deposit info. It's worth keeping hold of that just in case.
